Exploring the Healing Power of Rhythm with Jozi Radus
In this episode I have the honor of speaking to a reoccurring guest and friend of the show, the amazing Jozi Radus.
Jozi's work explores the healing power of rhythm, mindfulness and human connection. She earned her MSW with Honors from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa and brings more than 30 years of experience in therapeutic practice, group facilitation and experiential learning.
Jozi (www.joziradus.com) has facilitated large-scale interactive rhythm experiences for Fortune 500 companies, leadership conferences and communities, sometimes bringing thousands of people into rhythm together. Through Drum Cafe USA and Living in Rhythm, she blends her background in social work with somatic awareness, mindfulness and the neuroscience of rhythm to create experiences that invite people fully into the present moment.
At the heart of Jozi’s work is the belief that healing does not happen in isolation. Shared rhythm offers an embodied experience of listening, belonging and becoming part of something larger than ourselves. Her work reminds us that rhythm is not only something we play—it is something already living within us.
