How ADHD Helped Laura Carney Finish Her Late Father Mick's 54-Item Bucket List in Six Years

In today's episode I have the pleasure of speaking with author and investigative journalist Laura Carney (www.myfatherslist.com/Laura). Laura and I explore how ADHD has helped her finish her late father Mick's 54-item bucket list in six years and ADHD is a gift, not a deficit. Laura's first book is coming out from Post Hill Press, distributed by Simon & Schuster, on June 13. My Father's List: How Living My Dad's Dreams Set Me Free is about Laura's six-year mission to finish all 54 items from the bucket list of her late father, who was killed by a distracted driver when she was 25. Her book is a grief memoir, but it's also about self-discovery. And it's out just in time for Father's Day. Laura Carney has been on NPR, Tamron Hall, CBS Mornings and the Drew Barrymore Show, as well as NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt and various other outlets to talk about the book. It's also been covered in the Washington Post as well as People. I was interviewed by CBS Sunday Morning, which will air before the launch.
